PATRICIA FIELDS BRIEF....

Iv always been a bit obsessed with Patricia Field since i stayed near her store in New York 3 years ago. before the big hype about her styling for Sex and The City was around.
really enjoyed putting together a advertisement campaign and have just seen the outcome of what a group produced from my brief.

I LOVE FAKE MAGAZINE as it's only magazine based i which i have been a regular reader to since it launched a year ago. i love the young vibe about it as it really focuses on laid back "cant be asked look" which is what you tend to go for when you a student.

I LIKE HOW THEY DO STARBUCKS....

I LIKE THERE STYLE....the starbucks are so busy in NEW YORK they tend to write the customers name on the cup. I think this a positive customer service idea.

PRADA

I was advised to go and take a look at the Prada store in New York.
Defiently was one of the stores that stood out from the rest as the displays were co-ordinated and carried a theme throughout the whole store. Also the technology around the store was very impressive. Screens around the shop showed films of the catwalk shows.
The top two images were from the A/W 2010 colection which was really classic and structured.

working at ASOS magazine offices.

well im still in London so i thought i best make the most of it.
so set up some work expierence in ASOS offices in Mornington Cresent.
I got to also see all the other departments, as i was working in the magazine section.
took some photos of the studio.

i visited The National Portrait Gallery where they exhibited amazing imagery of Twiggy through her life. some of the biggest photographers have shoot her for magazines all over the world. really enjoyed it even though i had seen many of the images before they looked great displayed all together.WANT HER TWIGGY LEGS.

bringing the british to NY topshop.

next module is all about bringing NY retail ideas to the British retail market. 
here in the New York Topshop they have used the british culture to represnt the brand as its seen as an iconic London Store over in the US.

today i got another chance to see a show. this time in the national opera house. 

the grand dressing rooms and make up area worked a whole lot better than when i styled at somerset house. 

loving the shear black diamond dresses over the all in ones. looked amazing reflecting off the mirrored runway. well done nicole.

Assisted the styling for this shoot for MIRAGE magazine last summer. just been released for issue 2. William.E is amazing to work with and so down to earth. he introduced me to the world of Johnny Depp i never knew exist. read his autobiography NOW.

my velvet black Doc's were my life in New York. pure comfort. 

And AHEMMMM now look one month later, both A.Wang and Heikki Salonen are rocking out the velvet red and black boots. 

These dream shorts would look perfection with my black suede boots.
